The village has a famous "Globe Inn" (16th Century Public House), Miss Muffets tea rooms, post office with shop and a charming 13th Century church.

For the energetic visitor there are some lovely country and coastal walks, superb beaches (Woolacombe 7 miles) coves for bathing, sailing and fishing. Ilfracombe golf course is only 5 minutes drive away.

For the less energetic there are some delightful drives which take you through Combe Martin and on to the breathtaking scenery of Exmoor and surrounding countryside.
